Hailing from the Aegean coast of Turkey, Ali Atar’s professional life has involved years of experience across Europe, the USA and transatlantic crossings aboard Disney’s premier cruise ships.
Ali’s infectious passion for life, community, restaurants and bars is also matched by his love of our stunning Sunshine Coast - the place he now calls home with his wife and son.
Cat Hohns brings a wealth of experience to her role at Pier 33, having traveled the world as an Incentive Travel Event Manager in the corporate sector for a wide range of high-profile clients.
After returning to Australia, she took a step back to focus on building a beautiful family of her own, and embarked on a new challenge - responsible for managing events and weddings for Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads for 18 months.
Cat’s love for the Sunshine Coast began at a very young age with annual holidays to Noosa, and as a part-owner of Pier 33, she's proud to be a friendly face behind one of the coast’s most stunning function and event spaces.
After honing his skills in Sydney and Melbourne, including a two year stint at Sydney’s renowned Flying Fish and working under the tutelage of 3 hatted chef Jacques Raymond, Noosa boy Simon Taylor has returned - proud to be calling the coast home again.
Simon is passionate about local produce and works alongside local suppliers to source the best quality Sunshine Coast and surrounds ingredients for his menu.
When he’s not making waves in the kitchen, you’ll find this laid-back local where the waves are breaking.
